Swisslog-Accalon´s own conveyor control system, ConveyorBOX, is used to connect the conveyor PLC controllers to the WMS using a reliable and proven communication interface based on a standard communication protocol.
Compact starter technology
Swisslog-Accalon conveyors feature the in-house developed, unique Compact Starter Technology, a bus-based system that allows a great number of control points to be served by just two wires around the system. The power distribution between different compact starters is arranged in a daisy chain fashion.
Long-life motors
Power is supplied by electric motors driving through either cost-effective gearbox-and-chain drives or worm drive gearboxes.
